Commander Justin Quinn is Director of NATO’s Maritime Unmanned Systems Innovation Coordination Cell and Secretary of the NATO Joint Capabilities Group for Maritime Unmanned Systems (JCGMUS). In this role, he drives the coordination, innovation, and integration of autonomous maritime technologies, spanning underwater, surface, and aerial systems, across NATO member states.

He leads key initiatives such as Task Force X, focusing on protecting critical undersea infrastructure and advancing interoperability frameworks for allied unmanned systems fleets. As a strong advocate for innovation and collaboration, Commander Quinn frequently engages with industry, academia, and international partners to accelerate the adoption of next-generation maritime capabilities within NATO operations.
