Meindert Stolk

Meindert Stolk is responsible for Regional Economy and Innovation, Environment Quality and Enforcement, Culture and Heritage. With a background in Business Economics, he has been active in regional and national politics for over three decades. He also has extensive experience in Public Affairs and Communication.

In his current role, Meindert is dedicated to strengthening innovation clusters and fostering public-private partnerships throughout the region, including no less than three clusters specialising in unmanned systems. This April, he launched Zuid-Holland’s dual-use collaboration with the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, the regional development agency InnovationQuarter, and the Economic Board Zuid-Holland triple helix association. With the Port of Rotterdam already harbouring a wide variety of innovative dual-use industries, it is no surprise that the partners of this dual-use collaboration are well-represented at DroneHorizon.
